Bafta 2016 : Le Nomination, in testa Carol e Il Ponte delle Spie

Sono state annunciate le nomination per la 68° edizione dei BAFTA Awards, noti come gli Oscar britannici. Spiccano le candidature delle star Eddie Redmayne, Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Brie Larson e doppia candidatura per la svedese Alicia Vikander per The Danish Girl ed Ex Machina.
Sorprende Michael Fassbender, nominato per Steve Jobs e non per Macbeth e Idris Elba per Beast of No Nation.

In cima alle candidature con nove nomination a testa troviamo gli acclamati Carol e Il ponte delle spie, seguiti a ruota da Revenant - Redivivo, a quota otto candidature. Solo 2 nomination per The Hateful Eight di Tarantino, ovvero miglior sceneggiatura originale e miglior attrice non protagonista a Jennifer Jason Leigh.
Niente candidatura per miglior film a The Danish Girl, ultimo lavoro di Tom Hooper (Il Discorso del Re, Les Misérables) presentato in anteprima mondiale allo scorso Festival di Venezia, che invece appare solo nella categoria miglior film inglese.
